Volunteer Incentive Program We have received gift certificates from an anonymous donor to encourage volunteer participation in the SEWSL Community Gardens and the Northern Nevada Pagan Pride Day event. Volunteer a few hours of your time for your chance at winning one of these! How it works: SEWSL Community Garden: June 8, 2010 through September 11, 2010 - For every hour of time you spend actively weeding one of the two gardens, you will receive a raffle ticket. The winner will be announced at this year’s Pagan Pride Day, and will receive a $20 Amazon.com gift card. September 11, 2010 through October 31, 2010 - For every hour spent assisting with gathering and preserving the harvest, you will receive a separate raffle ticket towards the See’s Candies gift certificate good for one pound of chocolate. Winning ticket will be drawn on Samhain. SEWSL Council members and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Northern Nevada Pagan Pride Day: Volunteer for PPD Courtesy Staff for your chance to win a $20 Amazon.com gift card. Each shift is three hours on the day of the event, September 11, 2010. Courtesy Staff volunteer duties include assisting vendors and groups with set-up and tear-down, provide light security, and help keep the park clean.
